Dr. Sylvia provides comprehensive assessment and management of a wide range of skin lesions within primary care.

This includes evaluation of common benign lesions such as viral warts, seborrhoeic warts, sun-damaged skin changes, skin tags, benign nuisance moles, and benign “lumps and bumps”, including cysts and lipomas.

Assessment at Dr. Sylvia - The Skin GP focuses on accurate diagnosis, appropriate management, and identification of lesions that require further investigation or treatment. 

Where clinically indicated, skin surgery services will be carried out in clinic. These can include skin biopsy and surgical excision for suitable lesions, performed safely under local anaesthetic in the community setting.

Cryosurgery is also offered for selected appropriate lesions.

Lesions that are complex, high-risk, or require specialist hospital-based management are referred to an appropriate consultant specialist in line with national guidelines.
