What to Expect at Your Appointment

We recommend arriving 5–10 minutes before your scheduled appointment to allow time for check-in and completion of any required paperwork.

On Arrival

When you arrive at the clinic, you will check in at reception and be directed to the waiting area. You will be asked to complete a short questionnaire, which helps us provide safe and personalised care. This includes details about your medical history, previous surgical treatments, current medications, allergies, family history, and any relevant risk factors for skin conditions.

Appointment Length

Initial consultations usually last up to 30 minutes, allowing time for assessment, discussion, and treatment planning. Follow-up appointments are typically 15 minutes, depending on the nature of the review.

Assessment and Treatment Planning

Your appointment will focus on careful clinical assessment and discussion of findings. If a surgical procedure is recommended as part of your treatment plan, this is not usually carried out on the same day as the initial assessment. This allows you time to consider treatment options and understand the potential benefits and risks before proceeding.
Where a procedure is clinically urgent, arrangements will be made to carry this out as promptly and appropriately as possible.

Aesthetic Treatments

For aesthetic consultations, treatment timing depends on individual preference and suitability. Anti-wrinkle treatments may sometimes be carried out on the same day as the consultation, following assessment and informed discussion, if both patient and clinician are happy to proceed.
